Analog Electronics Design Engineer


In this role you will be an integral part of developing the next generation of high-performance professional-use projectors, working side by side with some of the brightest electronics, FPGA, software, thermal, optical, and mechanical engineers in Norway.


At Barco, we design, develop, qualify, and manufacture all our Immersive Experience (IX) products in house. That means that you will be able to follow your brainchild throughout the whole process: concept development, schematics, layout, prototyping, verification, EMC validation, industrialization, and finally, mass production.

What you will do…

  • Translate product requirements into concrete system and sub-system designs
  • Carry out system studies and prepare electronics system architecture
  • Develop & quantify proof of concepts for new products / technology
  • Design, test, debug, verify and industrialize product designs
  • Document design requirements, development planning and qualification testing
  • Work closely with R&D and Production engineers to successfully develop and deploy high quality, high performance products

You need to bring…

  • Masters in Electronics Engineering, and 4-10 years relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of general physics, particularly electromagnetic and RF applications
  • Experience with design and simulation of high-speed ADC / DAC components and circuits, mixed signal processing and circuit design
  • Working knowledge of popular technologies such as MCU and FPGA, as well as SPI, I2C, Ethernet, I2S, USB, and UART communications
  • Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA), CAD, simulation and lab measurement tools
